The Philemon Foundation (www.philemonfoundation.org) is presenting the Second Philemon Foundation Seminar on Jung History, to be held November 21-23, 2008, in Toronto, Canada. The program includes:

Ernst Falzeder (Salzburg), speaking about Jung’s German Seminar of 1931 in which Jung interprets drawings, paintings, and visions of his patients, in part using amplifications from India and the Kundalini tradition.

Suzanne Gieser (Stockholm), author of The Innermost Kernel. Depth Psychology –and Quantum Physics. Wolfgang Pauli’s Dialogue with C. G. Jung, will talk about the important relationship between C. G. Jung and Poul Bjerre, his colleague and prominent pioneering Swedish depth psychologist.

Angela Graf-Nold (Zurich) will bring us up to date on her ongoing, groundbreaking editorial work on Jung’s seminal ETH Lectures of 1933 to 1941.

Judith Harris (Toronto), will speak in depth about the second Philemon Series publication, the recently published translation of Jung’s fascinating seminar on Children’s Dreams.

Sonu Shamdasani (London), Philemon’s General Editor and Reader in Jung History at University College London, who is currently editing the Red Book, will enlighten us on new and exciting developments in Jung History.

Giovanni Sorge (Zurich) of the University of Zurich will discuss Jung’s 1933 Berlin Seminar in which Jung discusses the psychological understanding of Eastern thought, Yoga, symbols, archetypes, and the work of Heinrich Zimmer, his close friend and legendary Indologist.

The cost of the three-day seminar is $500 per participant, which includes the opening reception, two breakfast buffets, and numerous coffee breaks (as well as very good company!).
