Reading the voices of early gnostic texts along with twentieth century figures, we will consider the different perspectives that they offer, and how they can empower our own esoteric relationship to Christianity today.

What is gnostic spirituality? Trace the origins of gnostic spirituality in the ancient world, and its expressions in the contemporary world, through historical examples of key texts and important figures. We will examine transgressive readings of Christian scripture and esoteric interpretations of Christ as both a historical figure and a spiritual archetype.
